Calamari Batter Fry

Calamari batter fry or The Italian style, deep fried calamari, is so tasty you'll surely enjoy it. This is the best Calamari batter fried recipe ever, It's extra crispy, easy and super tasty.Ingredients:

250 grms Squids, ( cleaned)
1 egg, whisked 
½ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup cornstarch
½ tsp pepper powder 
1 Tbsp ginger garlic paste
Salt to taste 
Oil for frying

Directions:

1. Clean the squids, wash them well and cut the tubes of cleaned squid into ½ inch rings.

2. Place the squid rings in a bowl, add ginger garlic paste, egg, pepper, salt to taste and mix well.

3. In a container with a lid combine the all purpose flour and cornstarch, drop the squids in the flour, close the lid and give it a shake, until all squid rings are nicely coated with the flour mixture.

4. Heat oil for deep frying, fry the squid till they turn light brown in color. Remove the squid from oil and drain on kitchen paper towels.


Serve with Tarter sauce or tomato ketchup.
