Chicken Steak Cutlet

This Recipe is an authentic Goan chicken Steak/ Cutlet Recipe and it's very easy to make.


Recipe: Chicken Steak cutlet

Ingredients :

500 gms chicken breast (bonelesss fillets)
3 tbsp. green masala ( * click link below)
1 tsp. ginger garlic paste
¼ tsp. salt or as per taste
Bread crumbs as required
Semolina (rawa) as required
Oil for frying

Directions :

  1. Slit the chicken breast into thin fillets.

2. Next Add 1 tsp. ginger garlic paste, add ¼ tsp. salt or as per taste, add the green masala ( view my recipe link for green masala). Mix all the ingredients well & refrigerate for 2-4 hours.
       
     

 3. In a plate mix bread crumbs and semolina,
      then dredge the marinated chicken fillets into          the bread crumbs & semolina mixture.

     4.In a non stick pan add some oil, wait for it to      heat well, then shallow fry the cutlets for 5min on each side or until golden brown and done.

5.Once fried remove the cutlets onto a plate lined with paper towel.
Enjoy with bread, chips, salad, as a side dish with your main course.

  • You can also whisk an egg and dredge the fillets in the egg first and then in the semolina mixture (otional)
  • Marinating the chicken  fillets over night in the refrigerator will enhance its taste.
  • You can squeeze lime for additional flavour before serving .
  • You can also add 1 tbsp of vinegar along with the masala, for marinating.
