Easy Mango Mousse

Mango the king of fruits, has an irresistible taste...This Mango Mousse recipe is so luscious and easy to make... you will surely crave for more....

Ingredients:

1 cup Mango Puree
1 cup Whipping Cream/ Heavy cream ( Chilled)
3 tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla Essence 

Directions:

1. In a mixing bowl, Put cold Heavy cream/ whipping cream, Sugar and Vanilla essence.

2.     Whip all the ingredients well with an electric hand/ stand mixer or blender, till you get stiff peaks.


3. Now in a larger bowl put some crushed ice and place the whipped cream bowl in it.

4. Next add the Mango Puree to the whipped cream and mix for about a minute, till all the mango puree in blended in the cream.

5. Pour into individual Dessert serving cups/ bowl and set in the Refrigerator for 4 hrs or overnight.


Serve chilled... Enjoy luscious  Mango Mousse.

Recipe Notes:
  • For the Mango puree: Remove the pulp from 2 large mangoes and blend it into a blender to form a smooth puree, sieve fibres if any.
  • Make sure the Heavy Cream/ Whipping cream is used straight from the fridge chilled.
  • Alternatively if you don't have hand mixer, you can blend the whipped cream into a blender till it forms slight peaks and then add the mango puree and blend for few seconds. ( make sure not to over blend, as it will turn buttery and get spoiled.
