Fresh BombayDuck fry ( Bombil fry)

This is a simple fish fry recipe without any masala, all you need is some basic ingredients. The other alternative to fry the fish is with the famous Goan Recheado masala.

Ingredients 

6 fresh Bombay ducks
½ - 1 tsp Red chili powder 
½ tsp turmeric powder 
¼ tsp pepper powder 
Salt to taste 
Semolina/ Rawa as required 
Oil for shallow frying
1 lemon

Directions 

1. Wash and clean the fish, with the help of the knife slit the fish in the middle and debone it.

2. Put the fish in a bowl, apply pepper powder,  turmeric powder , chilli powder & salt to taste.
Make sure the fish is well covered with the masala.

3. Dredge the fish in the Rawa/ semolina 


4. Heat oil in a non stick skillet/ frying pan and shallow fry the fish on medium flame until golden and done.Remove the fish on a plate lined with kitchen towel/ tissue . 

5 .   Serve hot !!
