Prawns & Chicken Noodles/ Mixed Noodles

Get your chopsticks ready for this exciting Stir fry mixed noodles recipe. This recipe is a perfect blend of proteins and veggies with a hint of sauce making it a perfect meal to enjoy.

Ingredients 
250 grms Egg noodles
200 grms prawns ( cleaned)
200 grms Chicken ( cut into 1cm small cubes)
2 Eggs ( whisked)
100 grms capsicum/ bell peppers 
200 grms carrots 
100 grms French beans
50 grms spring onions ( chopped)
2 Tbsp butter
2 -3 Tbsp Soya sauce or as per taste 
1 & 1/2  tsp chicken stock powder 
Oil 
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste

  1. Cook the noodles as per the instructions on the packet, drain, run under cold water and set aside.

  2. Meanwhile, cut the veggies ie. Carrots , French beans and bell peppers diagonally into fine strips.

  3. In a non stick pan keeping the flame low, add 1 Tbsp oil, fry carrots & french beans for 4 mins or untill soft, then add bell peppers and fry for a min. Lastly add spring onions give it a quick stir and set aside.

  4. Apply a bit of salt & pepper to the prawns and stir fry with 1 Tbsp of oil for 5 mins. Or until cooked, and set aside.

  5. Again in the same Pan Stir fry chicken with 1 Tbsp of butter, a bit of salt and pepper and cook until done.

  6. In the same pan add 1 Tbsp of butter, scramble fry the egg for 1- 2 mins. and set aside.

  7. Then add the prawns, fried vegies and chicken, give it a quick mix. Keeping the flame on low.

  8.  Lastly add the noodles; take a small bowl mix together the stock powder and soya sauce well, pour it over the noodles, add salt & pepper as per taste, give it a nice mix and switch of the flame.
             Enjoy yummy noodles!!

 



Recipe Notes:
  • You can follow the same recipe and make only Prawn or Chicken noodles or even just veg noodles.
  • You can use any veggies of your choice.
  • use a non stick or cast iron pan for stir frying, but any pan will work just make sure to be vigilant while frying to avoid sticking and burning.
  • You can also skip the oil and steam cook the veggies, prawns and chicken by covering it with a lid and slow cooking each of them separately, but the taste will differ a bit.
