Goan Green Beef Curry

Goan Green beef curry is basically made by cooking beef in Green masala. This curry can be enjoyed with Bread or Rice.
Ingredients:
  • 500 grms Beef 
  • Green Masala (click the link below)               click for Green Masala Recipe 
  •  1 Onion medium sized (chopped)
  •  1 tomato medium  ( chopped)
  •  2 Potatoes medium ( cut into medium cubes)
  • ½ stock cube
  • 4 Tbsp Oil
  • Salt to taste 

Directions:

1. Wash the meat and cut into about ½  inch cubes, apply salt and set aside.

2. heat oil in a cooking pot, add Onion and fry till translucent. Then add in tomato and fry till soft. 


3. Next add the green masala and fry for 2 minutes, add in the beef and 3 cups of water. Cover the vessel and cook for 20 minutes on medium flame.


4. After the meat is almost cooked, add the potatoes, stock cube and salt as per taste. Cover and cook for another 15 minutes or until the meat is cooked well.


Enjoy Green beef curry with Rice or Bread...


Recipe Notes:
  •  You can adjust the consistancy of the gravy according to your preference. 
  • You can adjust the spice of the green masala as per taste, if you dont want it very spicy reduce the chilies to 2( depends on the green chilies).
