Kingfish Masala Rawa fry

This is a very basic & quick fish fry recipe.

Ingredients 
  • 4 Large Kingfish fillets 
  • 1/2 tsp salt or to taste 
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder 
  • 1 Tbsp red chilli powder 
  • 3 - 4 Tbsp Lemon juice or Vinegar 
  • Semolina/ Rawa as required ( Optional)
  • Oil for shallow frying
Directions 

1. Wash & apply salt to the kingfish fillets.

2. In a bowl, mix turmeic powder, chili powder and lemon juice to form a smooth paste.

3. Apply the spice paste on both sides of fish fillets and coat well with Semolina/rawa on both sides.


4. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the fish on both sides till nice & golden brown.






Recipe Note:
  • You can substitute Semolina with bread crumbs or you can also use a mix of both Semolina and breadcrumbs for coating the fish.
  • You can also skip the Semolina & fry the fish plain with the masala.
